Sports roundup: UCD inks 3 volleyballers

Aggie beach volleyball coach Ali McColloch has announced the commitment of three new players to her women’s crew.

Laguna Hills native Summer Bouquet, Caroline Kedeshian (Palisades Charter High) and Colleen McGuire of Naperville, Ill., will enter as freshmen for the 2021 season.

“We are very excited,” McColloch said. “The incoming freshmen are an excellent fit for the culture we’re building and will strengthen the team’s overall knowledge and experience in the game of beach volleyball.”

Kedeshian, whose sister Katherine is also a member of the UCD beach volleyball program, led her Palisades Dolphins to three straight Western League titles and a pair of CIF Los Angeles City Section final appearances.
